Painswick

Today's outing took us to Painswick. Another "cute little town" in the Cotswolds. Back in wool's heyday for the region, Painswick was a bustling and important wool town. Evidence can be seen in the fancy tabletop tombs around the church of St Mary. (Similar to how Glasgow's importance in Victorian times is evident in the monuments and tombs at the Necropolis) Here are a bunch of photos from today.
