This Morning Along the Canal

Beautiful but kind of cold day for a walk along the canal. Some of the mud had ice mixed in.

Took a walk thru University Parks to get away from the constant noise of the leaf blower at my apartment. Ended up taking a few photos of leaves, but in a much more peaceful environment.

Fall Along the Canal

Beautiful day for a walk along the canal. When I positioned myself to take the photo of the long boat and canal, out of the corner of my eye I saw the kingfisher fly by. Luckily my 2x was on, so I had an effective 400mm reach and ended up with a few decent shots. He's not real good at sitting still or hanging around.
