The flooding continues with some areas basically underwater since the week of Christmas. The paths in Christchurch Meadow heading down toward the Thames are closed off as both the River Cherwell and the Thames are flooded and join together near there. I overheard one guide say "and the cows have turned into ducks". Magdalen sports fields have been under water since a couple days after Christmas at least. The rugby team will be out of practice, but the water polo team should be in top form!
