Baku Revisited

...a lot cleaner, tons of new buildings, and the roads are in far better shape than my last visit. But not nearly the time to walk around that I had previously, complicated further by my nasty cold and weather that didn't always cooperate for roaming around. Still, I managed a day of photos, some in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the "Walled City of Baku" and an hour or so along Martyrs' Lane (Şəhidlər Xiyabanı). Here are a few.

Out & About

Took a couple hour drive about thru a few of the towns and villages in the Cotswolds today. The sun was out so we had to take advantage of it.

Wales

was the subject of our second overnite. Again, the coast line was dramatic and the subject of the photos below. Portmeirion where we stayed for the two nights was unique and nice...especially so without any tourists. Caernarfon and it's castle (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) was also very nice. So I'm even further behind on photos.
