Painswick

Today's outing took us to Painswick. Another "cute little town" in the Cotswolds. Back in wool's heyday for the region, Painswick was a bustling and important wool town. Evidence can be seen in the fancy tabletop tombs around the church of St Mary. (Similar to how Glasgow's importance in Victorian times is evident in the monuments and tombs at the Necropolis) Here are a bunch of photos from today.

Necropolis Glasgow

The Necropolis in Glasgow was worth the visit. We caught it in the late afternoon and then I went back at sunrise.

Roads

Here are some photos with a road theme. Again, I'm too lazy to title.

Water

Just back from Scotland with a heap more photos. Decided I'd post some right away. Here are a lot of photos with a water theme. I'm too lazy to title them all tonight.

King Arthur's Castle?

A few views of the rock and ruins that are Tintagel Castle in Cornwall. The "birthplace" of King Arthur. The coast here was black and slate, vice the white chalk cliffs in Dorset that I walked a couple days earlier.

Out and About - Waterperry Gardens

We didn't let a beautiful afternoon go to waste today. Instead we drove out to Waterperry Gardens and strolled around taking some photos. The Asters and the Dahlias were especially colorful and beautiful.
