Winchester Cathedral

is one of my favorite Crosby Stills & Nash songs. Sunday we went for a visit. I didn't find the grave of a soldier that died in 1799, but I did find one from 1899...

The more things change, the more they stay the same "shot by a fanatic at Peshawur"

Jeff,

We were there last week. The soldier who died in 1799 on Graham Nash's birthday is there, on the floor...the soldier's name is Hugh Foulke, esq...Lieutenant aged 26...I asked and they found it for me....I'm a CSN fan as well.

I take photos. said...

Next time I'm there, I will ask....it never occurred to me to ask for some reason....
